"Then there were harebells, tiny lanterns, cream white and almost sinful looking, and these were so rare and magical that a child ,finding one, felt singled out and and special all day long."~John Steinbeck~
This weekend on my birthday, I felt like the child.

Happy Birthday! I love this book:) I've been searching for so many old books lately and finding treasures - like the old Dandelion Library books with two stories in one, Penny by Marjorie Torrey, Twig by Elizabeth Orton Jones and The Lonely Doll by Dare Wright for all those nieces:) I hope Ella is doing better - I've been thinking about her & praying for her.
And thank you for your words:) I'm so excited about Amy coming. Having my sisters here was my biggest wish.
Michelle- I too was instantly enchanted by the flower fairy books as a liitle girl when my English Aunts introduced them to me. The pictures are so pretty. I'll have to look for some of those others you mentioned and by the way Ella is doing great.
So glad to hear that - she looks like such a sweetie:)
oh my goodness... I loove this book!! I have been reading it aloud to Laughfer over the past couple of weeks, while Josh looks at me with a quizzical expression... i guess it's a girl thing!
happy birthday, sweetie!
