What a beautiful picture of the grace that God gives us, even in spite of the curse.

We're thanking God for Naya and praying for your rest.

KarenKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04143247856547488744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34077236.post-50051466282164489622007-02-21T14:21:00.000-08:002007-02-21T14:21:00.000-08:00Gorgeous! The name is lovely and seems to fit her already.

When I had Ian I was so proud of myself because I was making it through the whole thing without drugs. They had me in the delivery room and everything was set to go and Ian should have been making his entry. The only thing that was off was that he still hadn't come down enough and it didn't go with the rest of the progression. So the midwife who was against an epidural and so proud of me said they would have to give me some pitocin to bring him down. Not knowing how much it would increase the pain I decided to get an epidural before they gave me the pitocin. I had been able to deal with the pain up until then but I couldn't imagine dealing with worse. It was a good thing I did too because that pitocin brought him down so fast and rough that my contractions were off the charts and unbelievably intense. I wasn't disappointed that I got an epidural in the end. Plus these German doctors give pretty weak epidurals. I only felt the pressure of those contractions but I got to experience the "ring of fire" when Ian was being born. Sounds like you did great. I hope you have some really sweet bonding time with your new, little one and all the help you need.Michelle Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05209747958896756872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34077236.post-33210591146991666652007-02-21T04:02:00.000-08:002007-02-21T04:02:00.000-08:00congratulations! what a sweet face, and i love he...congratulations! what a sweet face, and i love her name!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
